Are We There Yet?

I am so ready to be there! To the end of the semester! I have been writing a paper all day and I am not even half-way finished! I am about to pull all of my hair out...well maybe not. I am ready to graduate and move on to a new adventure. I had lunch with my best bud from Interior Design yesterday, Brook. We caught up on all of the horror stories of ID and on each others lives. I am so excited for all of the girls who are about to graduate. However, I feel stuck in a rut. It seems as if I will never graduate! But I know, I know, patience is a virtue. Well the whole day wasn't bad. I got to make $60 while sitting in a chair and doing home work. I got to sub! Today is also my lovely boyfriend, Derrick's birthday. We are going out to eat to celebrate before church. I also found out today that Coffey Anderson is going to be in Van Buren next Friday! I am really excited about that. Me and Courtney are going to try to get all of the small group girls to go. He is so amazing! Can't wait!

Patience

I know why they say patience is a virtue. And apparently I am not very virtuous! I am playing a waiting game. I have two job opportunities and I need them both! I had an interview for my dream job, an event planner. I wanted to switch my major to that when I switched out of Interior Design. However, there is not a degree for it. I will have to get some certifications to be a designer for her. So I am just waiting to hear back from the lady. I would be talking to vendors, attending bridal shows, and helping the lady on event days. So hopefully (fingers crossed) she will get back to me soon! The other job is to make money in between time. It is to nanny a little three month old baby. He is so cute! I am just trying to wait patiently on God to open up the right doors for me to walk through. He never lets me down so I am turning it over to HIM!

This past weekend was my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was so much fun! We got to see all of our old friends from the past. It was so sweet to see my grandparents still together after all of those years. They are so sweet. My grandpa is so in love with my NaNa. I had the honor of decorating the event. It was so much fun picking out all of the flowers and decorations. It looked so beautiful. The cake was fabulous. The most important thing was, that my grandparents loved their party. My mom decided that we were all going to have to say something. She went to give her speech and started crying. My grandpa went up to her and helped her make it through. Next was my turn! My sister and I played paper, rock, scissors to see who would go first and my uncle decided he would go and then he told everyone I had something to say. So I got up there and cried, too! My Pa had to come to the rescue again! He helped me through it and I was glad I said something after I was finally finished. My sister was up next! She decided to sing "Your Still the One." And as the story continues, she cried too!!! So I went up and held her hand so she could make it through. It was a really sweet moment for me and my family and loved ones. Derrick came with me on the trip and I was so thankful that he got to share those moments with me. It was a very special and beautiful occasion. I am so thankful for my grandparents love.
